Hello!
I’ve read up on how to add unique profile fields and the methods of trying to autofill them on registration

I was thinking it would be much easier to add new “System” questions. I am currently circumventing the system by changing the Country and Address 2 Fields to Personal Title and Professional Title.
If you have any input as to where its best to look to add from the top down, rather than working from the middle out, it would be much appreciated!
The reasoning is 3fold –
1. Autofill upon registration
2. Should be easier to hook to for creating a custom Attendance Sign-In Sheet (I think this was suggested before, definitely a good idea!)
3. Add flexibility to the current process (i.e. Country can be a dropdown since besides US / CA / MX its unlikely most people will need to enter anything else)

Hi Jerry,
We recommend against changing the system questions because they are held in dedicated fields in the database table. Changing them could have unintended consequences, such as problems with the invoice or other areas.
This is definitely something we will take a look at in the WP User Integration add-on for EE4. EE3 and it’s add-ons are no longer in active development. We will continue to maintain them as long as they have features which have not yet been added to EE4, but we will not be adding any new feature to them.
