I have installed R&P basic and Pro. I also have S2member active on my site and I’m trying to allow any member with a specific S2member level editing capabilities for all events. They can see them in the dashboard, the edit button is there but they are told they do not have sufficient permissions to edit. I have tried both master admin and event manager (together and separate). They still can’t edit anyone elses events. What else needs to be checked in order to give them permissions?
Master Admins should be able to edit anyone’s events, they have a wide amount of capabilities. Event Managers can only edit their OWN events.
However, due to restrictions in the plugin, giving a different role the Espresso Admin capability will NOT allow them to edit the events.
You will need to give the user the Event Admin or Event manager role.
