List your events in certain event categories
Organize your events to make it easy for attendees to find the perfect events, then use the categories again to suggest new events.
Do you have several different types of events such as free and paid, conference speakers and breakout sessions, exercise classes of all kinds? Categorize them to make it easier for your attendees to find what they’re looking for.
- Display all the events in a category on a custom event category page
- Make the events searchable by category
- Get your events indexed on the search engines more quickly and in context
- Color-code your events on the Event Espresso events calendar to make them easier to find
For example, you could add a category for each location: New York, Chicago, Paris, London, etc. and assign the events in those locations to that category.
