We are using EE4 on a multisite setup with 5 different sites, and have done successfully for a couple of years. Recently, we have been getting intermittent problems when people try to register where the error ‘Your form data could not be applied to any valid registrations’ is shown: https://slack-files.com/T024H282E-F017XLB5LNN-7c0bf35356
This happens after selecting tickets, and when submitting attendee details.
The site is hosted on WP Engine, and they have excluded all the EE pages from the cache, which we confirmed with them today.
Debug logging in WordPress has been on during this time and we’ve checked the logs, but no errors or warnings appear.
WordPress version is the latest (5.4.2) on PHP 7.3, running Event Espresso 4.10.6.p.
We are also running the Barcode Scanner, Promotions, and Ticketing add-ons.
Are there any other reasons this could be occurring, and anything we can do to diagnose it?
Event Espresso uses transients to keep track of the user’s session and we’ve seen plugins randomly clearing all transients on the site (which would cause the above error).
The one that comes to mind is NextGen Gallery, do you have that installed?
Anything on the server clearing PHP sessions?
Does it happen on any/all sites within the network?
