Getting error message: You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

My account key is correct (just verified this).

My domain name is showing correctly in my account also.

I’m still getting the error. The only thing I can think of is that originally, I applied the license (stupidly) when the site was on a development domain. Could that be causing the problem, even thought the live domain shows in my account?

Any ideas?

If the license was applied to the dev domain, make sure the key is not entered there if that site is still active.

I’ll go ahead and reset the key, you may need to remove and re-enter the license key for the live site on the Event Espresso>General settings screen. Please see this topic for more auto update troubleshooting tips: https://eventespresso.com/topic/plugin-auto-update-tips/

I’m having the same problem.

It seems as the license in my account is for “http://www.domain.tld”, while the site is running at “http://domain.tld”, could this be the problem?

Do I need to reset the license?

@ emarienborg I reset your license. See if that helps.

I am receiving the same error on http://www.julietateministries.com although I am only using on one domain. Please reset.

@Julie Tate and @liquidflorian

I’ve reset your keys. If you run into other issues, please start a new thread, as this one has been marked as resolved.

I continue to have this issue as well. Can you please reset my key too? It’s pretty frustrating.

Hey ningram,

Does the dev site still have the key set? If so, you’ll need to remove it from there. I’ll go ahead and reset your key.

No, the dev site is long gone. The key is only in use on the active site.

Thanks Seth, I was able to update so the refresh worked for me.

This issue has reappared on my site, with the following error message in the admin area:

“You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

I’m receiving the same issue for Event Espresso and Espresso Membership:

“You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

and

“You have the correct Site License Key for Espresso Members but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

I’m not sure why this error is happening. I’m only using Espresso on one domain.

What do I need to do?

Michael
