Yearly Classes with the Same name but different registration instances?

I run a school where we run the same class yearly or a couple of times a year. I want to be able to look at registrations for each instance of the class separately without having to change the name of the event or have the event titled by the year. For example, I want to have “Willow Basketry” on the schedule in Oct and May but I need to be able to look at the registrations for each occurrence. Does this make sense?

Hi there,

If I understand correctly, to do that within Event Espresso you’ll to use multiple datetimes within a single event.

So you’d have a ‘Willow Baskerty’ event with (in your example) at least 2 datetimes, one for Oct and another for May. In my examples, I’ll use the 1st of each month but any date can be used.

So with an event set up like this:

You have 2 datetimes on which users are registering onto, each datetime needs it own ticket (or group of tickets) assigned to it. So in my example, you can see I have a Oct and May ticket, each of those are assigned to the specific datetime in the settings. You do that by clicking on the icon on the datetime, here:

Is that what you are looking for?
