wrong number of available tickets

I have been useing the attendee mover since it was in beta and we have never had a problem with it until now. After moving 7 registrations from an event with a total of 10 possible registrations, the number of available tickets for the event is incorrect on the front end of the website. The event was previously “sold out”, with 3 of tickets sold using a promo code to discount the ticket to $0, and the other 7 purchased at full price. After I moved the 7 and updated the event, it correctly showed on the back end as 3 approved registrations and 7 cancelled registrations. The problem is when the event is viewed from the front end, it is showing 7 out of 10 tickets sold. What is going on and how can I fix it so that the correct number of tickets are available for customers to purchase?

Does your website have a caching feature? If so can you purge the cache?

It’s not a chaching issue. The numbers updated after moving the registrations, they just updated incorrectly. The numbers went from 10 sold to 7 sold. It should have gone from 10 sold to 3 sold.

May I ask which version of the Attendee mover add-on you had activated at the time these were moved?

We had and are currently using Version 1.0.0.beta.011.
This was my first time using an add-on in beta, I had assumed that once the add-on was released, the update released would automatically update to the nonbeta version. It seems that is not the case, do I have to uninstall the beta version and then install the full release? If the issue I had was with the beta version, is there anything I can do to correct it?
thank you,

You’ll need to uninstall the beta version and install the official release.

You should be able to go to the date time editor and change the date time registration limit for that event to open up the 7 available spots for registration.

I tried that. Please take a look at the screen shots below:
screen shots
The issue that I need to fix is 2 fold.
1) Allow 7 people to register for the event on Nov 11 at 12pm
2) keep the actual and listed number of total registrations capped at 10. If I go in and just change the max number of available tickets to 14, it will look to my staff and customers that the class at 12pm on Nov 11 will have 14 people in it.
Any suggestions?

Alternatively you can copy that event, move the 3 attendees to the new event, then trash the old event.

Thank you. So hopefully, this issue was just due to the fact that I was using the beta version? I shouldn’t have to worry about this happening again?

They did fix a number of issues that were found while testing the beta, I can’t say for sure if the issue you saw while beta testing was the result of using the beta plugin though.
