i want to get the username of the client account to be automatically saved in the ticket. i will let him enter some details but the username i want it to be inserted directly with every ticket purchase he/she makes.
is it possible ? or it has to be made manually with PHP ??

Hi there,

Event Espresso currently does not have functionality to include the username within tickets/emails so this would need some custom development.

so i can rewrite some parts of the pages to send session with the username and be printed in the tickets. correct ?
and saved in the database

Sorry, I’m not sure what you are asking.

The way I would do this would be to write a custom shortcode for the messages system that will parse to the username of the user account that created the registration. This could then be added to the tickets shortcode and allow you to input it into the ticket templates.

However there are multiple ways to include do this and it depends on exactly what you want to do.

But the username can be pulled in using details from the registration. How/what you do with that depends on what it is you want to do.

Have you signed up to Test Drive Event Espresso 4 to see how EE4 works?
