Is there away to customize the email sent to customers when asked to create there password?
I found a reference to something similar in the forum, but the app mentioned seems outdated…
This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

I’m guessing you are referring to the plugin mentioned in this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/wp-user-integration-email/
There are others that do the same thing, for example:

There’s a tutorial available here:

The email in question is the default WordPress new user email so any plugin that alters the WP NEw user email will work.
