I have some questions regarding the wp user integration, the event’s are not auto creating a profile for registrants, they were at the beginning and also how do I add a registrants events that they have registered for to their user profile in wordpress so they can view them and any of the invoice, ticket, etc information that goes along with them. I’ve tried short codes and so forth, can’t seem to get it to work correctly. Is there a special meta key to show that information? Basically I want a client to be able to review the tickets and so forth when they log into their account. Thanks!

Hello again,

Could you login to your WP dashboard and go to Plugins?

Next, could you confirm that the WP User Integration for Event Espresso 4 is installed?

The reason I ask is that your support license provides access to the version for Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4. If you are using the Event Espresso 3 version with Event Espresso 4, then it won’t work.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Lorenzo, Yes I have users 4.6 installed. Also when you go to checkout of one of my events, the registration page will not load it just goes to a page that shows the shortcode? Please help! Thanks!

Hi Carolyn,

Can you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages.

Do each of the pages show page status and shortcode ‘ok’?

Edit the registration checkout page listed there, make no changes and just click update, does the espresso checkout page work as expected then?

Yes, it shows status and shortcode are ok. I did the update and nothing changed. What do I do now? Also when I try to login in with a user/subscriber account the page is just blank. What would be the best way to reload the plugin without messing up with my site. The last ee4 core update I did, it deleted some of my pages and all the work I did. Thanks!

Lets focus on getting the checkout page working as expected first as without it Event Espresso can not function as expected.

On the Critical Pages tab, again make no changes and save the settings. Then view the checkout page again.

If that doesn’t work we may need to re-create the checkout page manually.

What would be the best way to reload the plugin without messing up with my site.

There is a way to reset Event Espresso however I’m concerned by this:

The last ee4 core update I did, it deleted some of my pages and all the work I did.

Event Espresso should not delete any pages from your site.

Which pages were removed?
How were these pages created?

Yeah, the checkout is not working with the no changes and save settings. We will need to recreate the checkout page. I created my pages like normal in wordpress. I’m not sure what happened but it just messed up my theme a bit and got rid of custom code work on main pages. I’m not concerned about it, I have it backed up. Just need to fix the checkout issue and I have a few other questions as well.

Ok, create a new page.

Give it a title of ‘Registration Checkout Test’.

Within the page add the [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] and publish it.

Now within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages, set the ‘Registration Checkout Page’ dropdown to the new checkout page we just created.

Save the settings and view the page, does it now display details other than the shortcode?

Ok I did the registration checkout test page and it worked. It still isn’t creating a user for a checkout. No email is being sent to confirm the user credentials to log into their account.

Hello,

Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login so we can take a closer look at this issue?

Please share that temporary login through the secure link below:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

To prevent delays in troubleshooting, be sure to double check your information on the form before submitting.

The submit button for the form appears at the end of the form.

Again, please ensure that the temporary login works.

Thank you.
