Hi,
I signed up for the test drive to check out the capabilities of the WP User Integration add-on but unfortunately there is nothing related to this add-on inside (or I must be blind).
What I am after is creating a discount system for the users – for each event registered and payed for, user gets a defined amount of credit into his “wallet” that he later could exchange for a discount for future events (or other bonus).
So basically I need another user profile field that will automatically update with each received payment.
Does this look like something that could be achieved with EE (after some coding, of course)?

One more question that just popped in my head: Do I assume correctly that using WP User Integration Add-on does not lock visitors to creating an account to register to an event? In other words, are the events still accessible for visitors without an account?

Hello Martin,
Regarding the discount system, the WP User Integration doesnt provide that functionality. We do have a promotional code system built in and we also have the Social Coupons add on (previously called Groupon Addon) which provides even more coupon goodness.
Neither work in the credit system. It has been something that has cropped up recently from users, so I will add it to our feature list.
It could potentially be achieved using EE but would require a fair amount of custom coding, we would normally recommend you to look to a third party developer for this sort of work.
Regarding locking users, it depends. IF you set the event to member only then yes, only logged in users can access that event. If you dont then anyone can access it but you can change the pricing structure for members to give them an automatic discount for logging in. Again most people use a system like S2Member to charge members an daily/monthly/yearly etc fee for this.
