I have the latest version of EE and WP Users (EE4.6+) installed. When “Force Login” and “Auto Create” are both set to “No” it still creates the user account. No user notification is triggered – but the account is still created. (Whereas is Auto-Create is set to “Yes” it creates the account and sends the registration email.) How do we completely disable this?

Hi there,
It looks like you have LearnDash installed on the site, do you also have the Event Espresso LearnDash Add-on activated?
If so, it is that add-on creating the users event when Event Espresso is set not to create them in the event. That add-on hooks in and creates a user account for the primary registrant when the registration is finalized regardless of that setting.
Try temporarily disabling that add-on and register onto the event you test previously, a WP user should not be created with the WP User integration add-on enabled and “Auto Create” set to no.
If it works as expected I recommend creating a ticket with learndash to see if they can add an option to disable automatically creating users.
