Tried to search this but perhaps it’s a new version update? I like that you can now see upcoming events on the home admin page when you first login. However, it doesn’t display all immediate upcoming events. It only display a certain category first and then another category. Is there anywhere to edit the display setting within the admin home widget to display any and all immediate upcoming events, regardless of catagory? Possible source error is my multiple register event is still showing past events as active. |
Hi Rich O, The widget doesn’t group the events but it displays them by start_date ascending.
This sounds likely. When creating events with the Recurring events manager did you use the option ‘Yes (all created events are available for registration between the above registration dates).’? If so you’ll need to set the registration_end date for the events to match the event_start or event_end date (depending on the type of event) Before going into details can you confirm if the above is correct? |

I have made the edit for reg start date 3 weeks prior for all events the weird part too is that it’s not displaying the most immediate event. either, even within location A. |
Are the previous events still showing in the widget? Can you post a screenshot of one of the events date section please? Basically your registration_end date should match your event_start date. If event_start & rewgistration_end have passed, the event will expire. Currently investigating more into the widget, will update asap 🙂 |

ok this is going to sound stupid. i just needed to press on time (sort). it was on name sorting method. on the other hand, anyway to get the filter on the event page to stay? every time i go back to event page, the filter goes away? |
Hi Rich, It defaults to Active/Ongoing. Are you looking to make it default to a different status? |
|
|
not status. i want it to display the day of week and remove the start time. |
Not really, but you can change the defaults if you directly edit the /includes/event-management/event_list.php file on line 369. For your example it would involve changing the last number on the line from 4 to 6. |
