I’m hosting an event. During that event there will be five or six various mini-workshops that attendees can pick from. Is there a way that during registration for an event, attendees can select which workshop (or workshops) they would like to attend? I know I can do this with questions, however, one thing that doesn’t offer is limited space. I’d like to limit each workshop to 30 attendees, and once it is full, people will no longer be able to register for it.
Hope that makes sense and that I’m explaining it all correctly. This would be great!
Each type of ticket (main or mini event) can have quantity limits and you can determine whether you have prices or not. We don’t have a sub-ticket system yet (where one ticket can not be selected until another is selected), but we do plan to add that in a later iteration – no date available. But the multiple ticket options should work well for you.
Is there any way to do this with EE3? One of the main features that I need as part of my event is the printable ticket with the QR code. As far as I’m aware, this isn’t yet possible with EE4, correct?
No, the ticketing add-on has not been rewritten for EE4. The way that I would do it with EE3 is to have each workshop as a separate event and use the volume discount so that when someone signs up for enough workshops they will get the discount.
