Is there a way to get words in event datetimes indexed in the site search? For instance, I have an event called “Fun stuff” and specific datetimes with titles like “magic,” “water balloons.”

I’d like for the events to be retuned on site search when the words “magic” etc are searched.

Possible?

Hello,

Try using those words in the event description.

Thanks for the idea. This’ll be an extra step, and also include redundant information since all the particular datetimes are listed too. Suppose I’ll just put the info in an excerpt.

If you’re handy with PHP you can use this guide and modify its example code to join on and search through the esp_datetime table instead of the postmeta. The query should specifically target the DTT_name and possibly the DTT_Description fields.
