My client seems to be having an issue that event espresso wont send to certain emails addresses, he thinks its something to do with if they are over 33 chars in length, can anyone shed some light please?
I’m not aware of a 33 character email message limit. Are these ending up in the spam folder for these email addresses? Some times it can also be an issue where some ISP’s will block emails from specific IP addresses (if they are on a shared server, there may be other sites they are sharing with that have been blacklisted for sending spam).
One solution that we use and many other Event Espresso customers have found to help is to set up the transactional email to be handled by PostMark to ensure reliable email delivery. There are plugins available that make this a snap to set up. Here is one example: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/postmark-approved-wordpress-plugin/
