I need help, I cant install.
i searched through, but still no solution. I have the
“We’re sorry, but Event Espresso requires PHP version 5.3.0 or greater in order to operate. You are currently running version 5.2.17.”
So we upgraded the PHP to 5.4 but it still says the same message. I dont see a dismiss either.

Was the server rebooted after upgrading to PHP 5.4?

Hi,
Can you double check that PHP has been updated and that the site is actually using the new version please?
You can do this using the ‘Debug Bar’ plugin – http://take.ms/vWyit
I just ran a check on a test site, using PHP5.2 that error message is displayed. I then updated PHP to 5.4, refreshed the page and activated EE4.6+ without an issue so its likely the server is still running PHP5.2, your host may need to restart apache in order for the updates to take effect.

The Debug Bar identified the problem. Still on old version of php so will have to have them reset server.
