Hi,

We are wanting to follow-up on the outcome of a past post
(https://eventespresso.com/topic/will-wp-users-integration-work-with-multiple-registrations-per-order/).

Just wondering what the final solution was that Johanna Simmons put in place to achieve her desired result?

I believe we have a similar use case and I’m trying to determine what is the the best way we can go about achieving our desired outcome…

Our use case is as follows:
One person is registering multiple people for an event and is making a single bundled purchase of all of the attendee’s tickets.

The details (name, email, phone number etc) for each individual attendee get associated with a WP User.

When registration and payment is complete, the user data for those users gets passed in Infusionsoft where a contact record is created for each individual attendee. Not just the primary registrant.

Hi there,

The summary of the other thread is they were trying to make the WP User Integration add-on do something that it wasn’t designed to do. It sounds like you want to do something similar and extend the same functionality to Infusionsoft. If you don’t have a PHP developer on staff, you’ll need to hire one in order to make that happen. This is because Event Espresso 4 only syncs user accounts to the Primary attendee.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for getting back to me, I have access to a developer that I can engage to do the work. What I suppose I’m asking is as what exactly is it that I need to get them to do? As a non-technical person Myself I’m not uncertain of whether my desired functionality was even possible? And if so how we would go about achieving it? I notice in the last thread you provided an example of a plugin that included their desired functionality, and I was wondering if it is still relevant in my case?

Your advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Casey

Hi Casey,

A good developer will be able to understand what you’re looking to do and give you an estimate of what’s involved to make your customization requests a reality. The code that was offered as an example in the other thread can be found here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-wp-user/jf_ee_process_multi_wpuser_for_attendees.php

It doesn’t totally apply to the functionality you’re looking for in that it only hooks into the WP User Integration add-on, it does not hook into the Infusionsoft add-on.
