Hello, I am assisting a dance studio with creating a new website. I am looking for a way to manage their roster of students in the back-end of the site.
Profiles need to be specific for each student (not parents) as siblings may be registered in different classes. The studio need to be able to track things like what dance classes a student has previously taken and with which teacher, as well as what classes they are currently enrolled in and with which teacher.
Additionally, the studio needs to be able to accept both annual registration fees and class-specific fees, and joining multiple classes would earn a discounted rate. The student profiles would need to specify payment status.
The studio would need to be able to integrate student profiles with Mail Chimp, preferably with specific classes being automatically added to specific groups in Mail Chimp. The roster would preferably be exportable, also.
It looks like EE would handle the class registration perfectly, but can it be used to manage the whole roster and all the students’ profiles? Which version of EE would best fit the studio’s needs?

Hi Scott,
Thank you for contacting us! We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso.
Event Espresso doesn’t have the capability to manage the whole roster and all the students’ profiles, but it will show a list of events the users have registered for.
I recommend testing EE4 here: http://demoee.org
Once you have run through a few test registrations, you can go to Registrations, then click the Contact List tab and drill down from there to see the events that each user has registered for.
