I want to use Event Espresso for a website that primarily sells classes and workshops.

Three questions:

1) There are numerous KINDS of workshops and classes that require different registration questions. Is this possible?

2) Let’s say someone registers for 2+ classes from the same question set: do they have to enter their answers more than once?

3) Let’s say someone registers for 2+ classes from DIFFERENT question sets: they will be able to fill out both question sets, correct?

Hello,

Event Espresso allows you to create custom questions and assign those to a question group. Then you could enable a question group on a per-event basis. This means that you can collect custom information for each event. With that mentioned, Event Espresso will need a name and an email to process a registration. Any additional information such as address and custom questions are optional until you set those to be required.

Regarding how information is collected, it depends on if you set Event Espresso to collect additional attendee/registrant information. By default, this is not enabled through the event editor which means that it will work as described.

If you have a ticket option for an event, and an attendee buys two, then they’ll enter the answers for their questions once and the information will be applied to both ticket options.

If you have event ABC + event XYZ which has different questions, then they will need to fill both sets of questions out.
