Will Add-ons stop working?

Hello, I am interested in purchasing the EE4. Though, I am curious as if I do not renew the support license will the add-ons which I purchase stop working?

Hi David,

Generally speaking, they’ll continue to work because the license doesn’t restrict usage. However, if there is a change to WordPress core that makes it necessary to update Event Espresso or an add-on for the sake of compatibility, it’s possible that a specific function of Event Espresso will stop working if you update WordPress without updating Event Espresso.
