I really need help editing the text on the page following the “Confirm and go to Payment page” link.
“Your registration is not complete until payment is received.”
I need to edit this wording & thought it would be here:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/gateway_display.php
Would it be found in the short code location [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS]?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay.
You will need to edit the payment_page.php file that is in your templates directory. Be sure to move the file to your /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ directory in order to prevent your changes from being overwritten during an update.

Editing the payment_page.php in the template folder does change the text on the payment page landed on after clicking the “Confirm and go to Payment page” link.
(Send confirmation before payment is received option in General Settings is turned off.)
I edited the PayPal & Check text on this page using these files:
wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/paypal/paypal_vars.php
wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/check/check_vars.php

There are 2 payment_page.php files. One in Registration process & one in template. I don’t see the wording in the template file located here:
/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates/payment_page.php
But I do see it here & when I edit the text, nothing happen on the actual payment page shown above.
/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/process-registration/payment_page.php

I need to change “Your registration is not complete until payment is received.” to “Thank you for your registration.” since we are using the pay by check option & they are registered, just not paid.

I just tested this, and editing the payment_page.php file in the /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates directory DID change it on the page. Can you clear your cache and try again?
