Hi. I’m struggling to do the CSS styling. I have a very simple requirement: an events list page and an actual event page. Here is a screenshot of what I want to do. I can’t seem to get it right using Firebug, the things I’m trying are not working. Please could you send me a list of the css classes/properties I need to change? If I know the classes I can work out the values I need to put in. Your help would be much appreciated!

Hello Jennifer, We don’t have a concise list of all the classes used in the plugin, however you should be able to see each elements classes and id’s when examining the element in Firebug. It’s difficult to say from just an image, as the theme may be affecting the CSS in ways I cannot imagine, but I would say: space between fields use .event_form_field font .ui-widget input number of tickets – well to change the wording I would use the translation guide, or this function. Font size for the dropdown box use .ui-widget select For the event list styling you could use the css-class attribute on the EVENT _LIST shortcode, that way you have a custom css class to target https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#event-list |

Hi, Just realised I never linked to the translation stuff: Guide – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-wording-with-poedit/ Function – http://www.viper007bond.com/2011/07/13/changing-core-wordpress-strings/ Sorry about that. |

THanks Dean. I would like to create a custom class for the event list shortcode as you suggested, but I would like to base it on the existing class (make a copy and then tweak it). which class can I use? Sorry if this is a stupid question. |

Hi Dean. Ignore my last comment. You can close this ticket, I will open another. |
