Where does Registration Form get Emailed?

We set up our Registration check out page (that page currently has this in the text field


But where does this information go once they fill out the Registration Form questions? Can it be sent to an email to the event admin?

The registration details are saved along with the registration itself.

You can find all of your registration data in Event Espresso -> Registrations.

Or, you can view registrations for specific events in Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations.

Clicking on the registration shows all of the details for that registration, including the form answer (shown at the bottom of the above page by default).

Can it be sent to an email to the event admin?

Yes, it can, but it also depends on the event set up as to which email they’ll receive.

Generally, this would be done using the Registration Approved email, which is sent when a registration switches to have a status of ‘Approved’.

Are the registrations free? If not, are you wanting this email when users submit the registration or only when paid?

We set up the Registration Form like so, we created a group and in the group their are these questions:

Select which questions should be shown in this group by checking or unchecking boxes. You can drag and drop questions to reorder them. Your changes will be updated when you save.

Patient First Name
Patient Last Name
Email Address
Phone Number
Patient Date of Birth

How can I add the answers to be included in the email Event Admin Registration Approved?

So those are all custom questions?

Have you edited the message template at all? I ask because the default template already includes all answers to question questions.

By default, you should see something like this:

Thats done within Event Espresso -> Messages -> Defautl message templates -> Registration Approved -> Edit Event Admin.

In the EVENT_LIST section should be the ATTENDEE_LIST shortcode.

That calls the ATTENDEE_LIST section, which then calls the QUESTION_LIST section.

QUESTION_LIST loops over each registration question related to the current attendee and outputs whatever is in that section for each of them.

Can you add a screenshot of what you see on the admin email currently? Or forward the email on to support[at] and I’ll take a look.
