How/where do we go to send out an event invitation email to members? I see in EE where we can write email templates, but there is nowhere in EE to send it out. We are using Wishlist as the membership software so would we send it out using that facility – and if so, would we still insert the EE shortcodes?

Hi Miranda,
How are you today?
Event Espresso doesn’t have a system for sending email to people if they are not already registered for an event. Using WishList (or another service like MailChimp) you can add whatever information about the event into your email, but there is no need to include the Event Espresso shortcodes in the email (they wouldn’t work anyway).
You’ll create your email from WishList and send the invitation that includes a link to the event(s) page(s).
