I’m able to log in, but once I do, the app never pulls up any events and the wheel just spins and spins and spins. Does this have anything to do with the ongoing licensing issue? I have the persistent error that I don’t have a license for automatic updates. My PayPal Standard transactions don’t registered as paid either, but I’m in process of fixing that myself.
It would be good to first update Event Espresso and the add-ons that are currently active, including the ticketing add-on and the mobile app api. Your key has been reset per your earlier request, so what you can do right now is go to Event Espresso>General settings on your site and remove the key there are save. Then you can go to your account page and copy then paste the key from the account page into the key field in Event Espresso>General Settings, then save again.
After updating to the latest plugins, the mobile app API will also need to be updated. This isn’t a plugin, so it needs to be manually updated, usually via FTP. You can download your copy here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-ticketing/#services
Please let us know whether or not updating to the latest version fixes this for you.
Close this ticket. I discovered there was an espresso-services folder within the espresso-services folder. Once uploaded correctly, the app performed marvelously.
Thanks Josh, caught those instructions under the Android tag and as I stated in my previous post, it was a mistake on my end. Awesome idea to tag the help responses.
