Hi there! I am part of the St. Francis Community For Drug Awareness and we are hosting our first annual Drive Fore Dreams Golf Tournament. We are looking to purchase your product but are not sure which version we need to use. Here is what we are hoping to do. We want to enable both golfers and sponsors to purchase online if they so choose. Can you have a sponsors event page (where they check out as a sponsor) and can you have a golfers event page (where golfers and hole sponsor golfers can check out) or do they all have to run down one page? Do any themes work with this or do you have themes available? |

Hi, I think Event Espresso 3 would probably be the best option.
Either via different tickets in a single event, or by using an event per type. In EE3, tickets cannot be limited individually (capacity is per event).
Probably the best way would be just in the event description.
We don’t have a specific donation system in place, I would suggests a separate event that can be used for donations.
EE3 has the Quickbooks Merchant services gateway as well as many more, including PayPal.
The plugin can obtain all the information you wish from the attendees at registration. If you need data after registration, the information can be exported to a spreadsheet.
This could be done with a list attendees shortcode, which lists out the attendees names for an event.
By default they all list out, but it’s quite easy to modify this withy the shortcodes. If they are made as separate events, you can add a specific event to a page via a shortcode or a list of events in a specific category.
Most themes will work so long as they follow WordPress guidelines. We have a list of know conflicts here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/ Also I would suggest avoiding single page themes (where all content is loaded on a single page via AJAX) as I have seen this specific type of theme cause issues sue to the unusual URL structure. I hope that helps, but if you have more questions or need further clarification please let me know. |

So do I need to purchase what level of EE3? Personal or Business? Thank you for your help I am trying hard to get this done quickly. If I am understanding correctly can I create two events and then make a link in the navigation menu one to sponsors and one to golfers and when they click on it they will each go to a separate page choose what they want and check out? Or do I have to have only one menu link that says something like register and have every golf ticket and every sponsor package? You said total event limits, I can though if it is a package that receives 4 tickets I can limit it to 4 correct? Something like that? |

Hi, Personal would probably work out just fine, Business is of course better value. The Multiple Event Registration add on (via the Business licence or separately) may also be useful to you but it isn’t strictly necessary – https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/ The events are by default listed on a single page, but with shortcodes you could easily add two pages to your navigation and add a single event (or list of events) to each page. Each event in EE3 can have a max capacity, let’s say 200 as an example. Once reached, the event will stop taking registrations. Also each registration can be limited to a single reservation or a group booking which has a max amount. Let’s say you add group booking to the event, maxing at ten. A person can then register 1 to 10 tickets for that event in one go (this does not stop them from completing the registration and registering again). |
