Please go to the Payment Settings page, activate the PayPal gateway and check to see if there is an email address in there. If there is remove it and deactivate the gateway.
That should resolve the issue, but if not please advise.
You might need to remove the /transactions page or set it to private as long as you will not be using the PayPal gateway. If you start using the PayPal gateway later on you’ll need to restore the transactions page.
