After I installed Event Expresso, I somehow lost my regular “Events” page on my WordPress website that gave the information for my events. It would look normal on the dashboard but then when I would look at it live, it would say “Page Not Found” and then include a search box to look for it. Can anyone explain to me why it is doing this and what to do? I need it to be up until I figure out how to do the registrations through Event Expresso.

Event Espresso adds a custom post type that uses events to identify its list of events posts. So there’s a conflict with your existing events page, but no worries, you can change a setting to give the custom post type a different identifier.
You go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and input something else for the “Event Slug” setting. For example you could input upcoming-events and Event Espresso will use that for its events.
