We had an issue with our Hosting service and had to unexpectedly switch  I am concerned that I may have lost my attendee list. I have 120 attendees that are signed up for a course we offer. I have copied all my existing wordpress files and was also able to export mySQL database. Once the propagation finishes will I still have my attendees? Or are they gone?

The attendee data is stored in the database, so if it is exported from the old installation and imported into the new installation, the attendee and event data should be unchanged.

Ok thank you. Just to make sure I got everything where is that database stored? Does it have a unique name

Typically, the normal wordpress tables are named wp_options, wp_posts, etc, and the Event Espresso tables are named wp_events_details, wp_events_attendee, etc.

Is it stored in the mySQL database or a wordpress database? I am still having trouble recovering the data.

Hi there,

The WordPress database is a mySQL database. This tutorial may be very helpful with finding your way around the database by using phpmyAdmin, which is likely installed on your server:
