How does an event manager/staff do a website check on registered users who attended OR did not attend an event? This is assuming I don’t use the ticket scanning feature of EE.

Hello Jack,

Without the ticketing app, unless you manually mark them as Attended, there isn’t a way for Event Espresso to know who attended or didn’t attend an event. You can either print off a list of the registered attendees and mark them as attended at the door, then mark them as attended in the WP dashboard. Or, you can mark them as Attended in the dashboard as the arrive at the event.

Hi,
That’s what I would like to do – to tick them off from the dashboard. However, where exactly? The attendee list/manager has a cross in the attendee column but nothing happens when I click on it.

Jack,

See the screenshots here:
In the Event Overview, click All Attendees.

Then you check the attendee you want to mark as attended, and click the “Mark as Attended” button.
