We have an older version of ee3 which was purchased a few years ago. Recently the site has started running very slowly and this is caused by the ee plugins. If they are disabled, all is good. Any ideas how to stop the slowdown?

Hi Alberti, it is difficult to say what is causing the slowdown. Any recent changes on the site?
What is the version number that is shown for Event Espresso in WordPress admin –> Plugins?

Hi, the version is 3.1.26. No recent changes i’m afraid. I just seems odd that when i disable ee, the web site is fast again.

Hi,
Without running tests it will be very hard to find out the exact cause. That being said if you are using a 3 year old plugin on the latest WP version you may come across issues as things do change.
You could test out the latest version of EE by trying the EE lite to see if it is speedier for you: https://eventespresso.com/event-espresso-lite-preview/ (scroll down for EE3 lite)
