Hello:

I have a few pre-sale question and I would be very grateful if you can help me.
I searched the rest of the comment but could not actually find an answer.

CONCEPT:
I am planing to use Event Espresso to sell tickets for my events. My events/groups take place in different venues, different locations and in different days of the week but all of them are linked.

We teach how to write software code in publish establishment: bars, cafes and pubs.

The events/groups are classified by levels (beginner, intermediate and advance) are led by a qualified software engineer and a maximum of 5 participants per group.

What I need is to set these type of prices:

a) Single ticket for single event. 10 USD An user wants to attend any event, he goes to the event page and boughts a single ticket (he pays 10 USD)

b) Bono tickets 5 events 45 USD. He pays 45 USD, get a CODE and will have the right to attend 5 events (any day, any location and in any venue).

Example: Tonight he wants to attend an event, goes to the event page and at the moment of the payment he introduces his CODE. Then he will have the right to attend another 4 events in any other location.

c) The same as b) but with 10 events, 20 events…..

Users with beginner level of coding can only attend the groups for beginners.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Q1- Can I do this with Event Espresso?

Q2- Can I generate vouchers code to make different discounts, 5%, 10%…?

Q3- Does Event Espresso provide any kind of email confirmation to the attendees of the event and to the administrator of the site?

Q4- What happen if an attendee cannot attend the event? Can they cancell the event? If so What happen with the price they paid?

Q5- Can I set a minimum of attendees to run the event?
Q6- Can you please suggest me a convenient theme to use with the pluging

Thank you very much for your help
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Poncela

Hi Poncela,

Your registrants/attendee would need to register in advance for any events that they would like to attend.

There isn’t an option that will let a registrant/attendee pre-pay and then attendee events of their choice later on.

There is a promotions add-on that will allow you to create fixed (e.g. save $10) or percentage based discounts (e.g. save 10%).

The registration flow for a registrant is to select an option from the ticket selector and then click Register Now. This starts registration checkout and their contact information will be collected. By default, Event Espresso will ask for a name and an email address and you can create custom questions to collect additional information. If the event is paid, then the next step will be to pay for their registrations. If it is free, then their registration is complete. Once this happens, then a registration details email goes out to the event organizer (event admin) and the registrant/attendee.

If a registrant cancels, then you would cancel the registration within Event Espresso and then refund the registration fees through your merchant account (e.g. Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, etc). This restores a spot so another registrant can register for the event.

There isn’t a minimum option available as registrants generally pay upfront for their registration. I think you are asking about a hold option that reserves the registrations and then charges a payment if the event will be held.

Event Espresso does not require a specific theme to operate. You could go with a theme like Genesis or an event-oriented theme like one from Show themes:

Were there any other questions that we could help you with?
