Using 3.1.26 with te MER plugin.
Users are getting multiple warnings like this any time they attempt to register more than one person for an event that has no cost (if that helps). I never noticed this error in previous versions of EE (e.g. 3.1.20).
Please advise!

Not sure what is happening without a link to the site. You might try updating your events. Just open and re-save the events to see if that helps.

Is the server set to display errors? I would suggest setting it to log the errors/warnings only. This can be checked/changed in the php.ini.
