Walk-in registration in the mobile app

Hi,
Is allowing walk-in registration/check-in part of the roadmap for the mobile app in future releases?

I was happy to see the release of the app, but our events typically have a decent amount of walk-ins without tickets at the event itself which limits our ability to use the app at check-in.

Ideally we’d like to be able to register people and check them in at the same time as a walk-in inside the app itself. The current venue check-in app we use allows this, but we have to sync up the data with EE manually which is a pain.

Hello Jason,

This feature is on the roadmap. However, it depends on the development of some underlying Event Espresso 4 systems, such as adding REST API WRITE capabilities and possibly a refactor of the registration system. Both of these systems may require a substantial amount of development. So, I’m not sure we’ll see anything this year, but next year is looking hopeful.
