Hello,
We’re using EE4 with the waitlist addon.
We’ve noticed that even if a visitor abandons the cart, the event shows as sold out. However – it doesn’t show the wait-list option.
Is there a way to make abandoned carts NOT count as registrations? This is very inconvenient because it doesn’t reflect how many tickets our event actually has left!

Hi,
Abandoned carts ultimately do not actually count as approved registrations. There’s a mechanism that prevents overselling. One of the things it does is reserves the ticket to prevent others from getting that last ticket. If the registration is abandoned, the reservation is cancelled after the session expires.
If you check the event that shows as sold out after about 30 minutes does it show tickets are available again?
