One of our Tickets (solo choreography) sold out and we would like to offer a waitlist. I’ve set the waitlist available spaces to 5 and the site still shows sold out and at the bottom of the field is just the “add to cart” for our group choreography.

Hi there,
The waitlist add-on will only display a waitlist button if the whole event is sold out rather than individual tickets within the event.
Currently, you can set waitlists on individual tickets.

You CAN set waitlists on individual tickets or was that a typo? If I can’t is there a way to add a form or something to capture information to the event?

Not through EE no, you could use Ninja forms and a function like this:

You would need to create a ninja form and set the ID of that form on Line 20, then whenever a ticket shows sold out that ninja form will display.
