Wait List Notification should be available for Event Admin and Primary Registrant.

I’ll pass this suggestion onto the developers, I do think that having at least an Event Admin context will be useful.

We use only primary registrant that usually takes two tickets and the result is always doubled messages concerning waiting list.

One of the reasons for the current setup is that not all spaces within a group registration may be open, so for example if a registrant adds 5 registrations in a group and 2 spaces open up, the first 2 from that group will be promoted.

This can still be done using the primary registrant context although can look a little odd for some users.

Waiting list on ticket level was already mentioned. Our events always consist of multiple blocks and some of them are sold out quickly and some not till the beginning of the event, so wait list is not triggered at all. It would be nice to have such feature.

As mentioned in the other thread we don’t have plans to add this at this time although we have investigated adding this briefly and found it requires a lot more queries to function which is something we need to take into consideration when adding a new feature.

That doesn’t mean its not something we may add in the future, but to do so will require some careful planning.
