Hi,
Is there a way to enable wait lists by default on all events. My client wants to have 100 wait list spaces available and auto promote turned on at all times.

Thanks for your reply. As a note, it would be nice if a settings page could be added for the plugin that sets default values.
Just a thought for future consideration.

Hi Michael,
Whilst we don’t have an options page to allow for this, you can do it via code relatively easily.
Add something like this:

To a custom functions plugin on the site, we have documentation on creating one here:

That sets the default values to 100 and enabled auto-promotion to enabled.
Note that once an event has been save, it will use the value set on that specific event and not the default value. So the above will only change values on your for ‘new’ events moving forward on the initial page load.
