Hi!
Do you have any kind of functional documentation that describes how this will work? The wait list will be event based or ticket based?
I’m asking because we developed as waiting list script and we would like to evaluate if this add-on can replace it.

Hi Josh!
I’m really satisfied with the feature and I’m looking forward for it’s release.
Regarding the Auto-promotion Settings, is it event based (when someone cancels a registration) or you are going to have some sort of cron job that will evaluate if there area any available slots?
We intend to replace our waiting list with this add-on but there is one feature that we need to maintain – we are freeing slots for the waiting list by cancelling the unpaid payment pending registrations after a few days. If it turns out that we need to go and manually cancel the registration, this will by a drawback.

Hi Pedro,
You’ll note in the documentation there’s a setting, Auto Promote Registrants. If you set that to Yes it will automatically promote registrations from the waitlist to a pending payment registration. This feature does not use a cron job.
