Voucher codes not working with price modifier

I am having issues with voucher codes not taking into account extras when using the price modifier.

For example, a ticket price is £26. Total “extras” can add up to £17.
One voucher code is set up to discount £28, but even though it says:

Promotional code Dxxxxx ( £28.00 discount )
has been successfully applied to your registration

The total discount is only the ticket value.
Can anything be done to alter this?

Hi,

Unfortunately not. The promo code is applied to the base ticket price before price modifiers, so you are discounting the base ticket price (26) by 28 which makes -2 which is then converted to 0 as negative prices are not allowed. Then the price modifiers are added.
