It appears fine in admin, but does nothing during checkout. I think I’ve read every support article on the plugin. My new WP install, Event Espresso, Volume Discounts and Multi Event Registration plugins are all up to date. I’ve got a category set up and assigned to the discount and event. ‘Allow discounts in the shopping cart?’ is set to yes. Any plugins I’m not using are disabled (including permissions, is this bug resolved?) . I’ve tried numerous values in the plugin itself to try to trigger it. It just doesn’t work. Any ideas? It doesnt work because you need to have added the event to the cart, so in the example you linked it isnt in the cart it is just a default registration. As the volume discount plugin discounts multiple events it needs to work alongside Multiple Event Registration, which means the cart.
The Allow discounts in the shopping cart? refers to the promotional codes, rather than Volume Discounts.
If you are just promoting the one event, it may be a good idea to set the Show Registration Form to No (in the event editor) and add the Add to Cart shortcode into the event description.
