Hi,

I have setup the volume discount to add a discount to tickets if a user buys more than one, i’ve assigned the event to a category and applied the volume discount to that category.

It is not working at all, php version is: 5.2.6

Please Advice

What version of Event Espresso? Can you send us a screen shot of the Volume Discount settings and the event settings for each event.

When I try to access the settings I get “you don’t have sufficient permissions to access this page”. I have the latest versions of ee and plugins.

I turned off the permissions plugin and now I can get to the settings.

I can’t get it to do anything at all. No discounts are applied. It doesn’t seem to work. I have all the latest versions.

Hi Seth,

Is there any update on this issue? I originally purchased this version of the product for this functionality.

Please Advice

I haven’t had any problems getting this to work up to this point. I am going to download the current versions of everything that is available online and test it on a clean install of WordPress and Event Espresso.

Are you guys running the Multi Event Registration addon? That addon is required to make this work properly. So any events that are added to the shopping cart will use the Volume Discounts.

Yes I have the multi event registration addon installed, could you please make this a priority as I have a project that was ment to go live yesterday, but the volume discount is holding it up.

Thanks for your help

Hi Seth,

I have the discount working now, but is it possible to have the discount on a per ticket basis or have multiple discounts.
e.g.
1 ticket is 415 + vat
2 tickets are 830 + vat – 40 discount
3 tickets are 1245 + vat – 60 discount
4 tickets are 1660 + vat – 80 discount
5 tickets are 2075 + vat – 100 discount

Hello Krl,

Currently the add on doesn’t support that granular level of discounting.

I’m experiencing the same issue with Volume Discount setting not being accessible when Permissions are activated. I also have the latest of everything. Thank you.

Hi Will,

We are currently working on a fix for this, but in the mean time deactivating the Roles and Permission add on will resolve it
