Volume discount not applying

WP – 3.6.1
EE v3 – all add ons up to date – Volume discount – 0.5.1
Over a year old installation.

Hi Guys,
I’ve seen Dean’s post about upgrading the volume discount tool after we were getting duplicate events in the shopping cart. The discount tool has just been updated to 0.5.1 to remove that bug, and all EE add ons have been updated. Can you tell me why the discount tool is now not applying the discount for this event? Can you have multiple categories ticked?

Hi Ben,

Yes you can have multiple Categories checked.

So just to confirm, that event is within the ‘Movies at the Capitol’ category, correct?

Do you have any templates within wp-content/espresso/uploads/templates/?

Yes, correct ‘Movies at the Capitol’ category.

You could try temporarily renaming that templates folder and testing another registration, see if the discount is then applied?

If so it is likely the shopping_cart.php file that needs to be updated to match the current version.

I replaced the shopping-cart file and updated the bit of text we had in the old one, job done, case closed.
