Hello everybody,

I need to set a 10% automated discount for group reservations if its volume 10 registrants or more. what is the best way to do that?

Hey Josh,

I have 5 categories of tickets. And if I use “graduated ticket pricing” they will be 10. If I need another volume discount they will be 15 categories!
Showing this number of (same ticket name with different prices) on tickets picker would be confusing!

“Promotions & Discount Code” add-on solved this issue in a much clean way. I’m now wondering if there is a way to apply a promotion code automatically based on volume?

I’m afraid there actually isn’t a way to apply a promotional code automatically based on volume.

What you could do is remove any volume discounted tickets from inclusion on the main event page (and instead display them on a separate page). Then add a link somewhere on the event page for those who want discounted tickets.

There’s no UI for this, but if you have a working knowledge of using WordPress filter hooks, you can follow this code example to set this up:
