We wondered if EE4 WP module provides the option to “host” a virtual event, e.g.
1-Sell tickets via EE4 for a virtual event
2-Offer attendees to login (authenticate in EE4) and join a password protected event page ( authenticate / using their e-mail address)
3- allow the virtual event organiser to create an EE4 event page ( for example containing a live stream, i.e. requires custom HTML options) which is only accessible for people who bought a ticket for that event via EE4, “authentication” simply done for example using their e-mail ID…
We don’t currently have any of the above functionality built into Event Espresso but you could do some of it using a membership plugin and some custom development to pull the registrations for an event and check if the current user has access.
We’ve seen a lot of users using Zoom to host virtual events, adding the zoom details as custom fields to the event itself and then including the Zoom details into confirmation email, will that not work for your setup?
It’s not clear to me how you integrate between the EE4 user-ticket registration and the Zoom user authentication, i.e. in the case you want to prevent everyone using the the same password / pin etc…
Currently, we don’t have that integration you would need something custom to do it.
If you use the same password/pin for all users you can add it to the event as a custom field and include it in the emails.
