Note that this only happens on /wp-admin/update-core.php. When I click on the ‘What’s New’ link on /wp-admin/plugins.php the correct information is displayed in the pop-up.
Okay, we had a similar issue with a different plugin that was resolved in .25. You can download .25 from your user account page, deactivate and then delete Event Espresso, and then upload from the downloaded version. If you have FTP access, make sure the Event Espresso directory is named /event-espresso/ and not /event-espresso.3.1.25.P/. That should fix the issue.

We’re currently on 3.1.24.3.P and the Event Espresso folder is named /event-espresso/. After upgrading to .25 I’ll check again when a new version is available.
