I am new to event espresso and am fumbling through setting the events up I have it all setup with registration page with all the questions but at the bottom it just has “submit” button but I cannot figure out why I cant get the view cart button to appear. Could someone step me through this please? |
Hi Bruce, The View cart wouldn’t normally appear on a registration page. There is an add-on we have called Multi Event Registration that is included with the Business License that adds an optional cart-like checkout to allow for selecting multiple events and multiple price options. Here is a link to the documentation on how to use it: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-event-registration-add-on/ |

Josh I have this add-on installed and I have followed the directions, but still can not figure out how to get it to work..Sorry a lot of this is new to me.. |
Hi Bruce, Which page on your site has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it? Can you post a link to this page so we can take a look? |

http://quapawbsaevents.org/event-registration/ ok on trying to answer this question I found out some of the issue now I just need to know where it is supposed to be pointing.. Or to be more exact where is the page with the cart on it? |
Hi Bruce, It looks like the page that has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] page is either in the trash or non-logged in users aren’t allowed to view it. Can you check and make sure this is a published page? |

Ok if I make that visible the it adds a tab I dont want on the page http://quapawbsaevents.org/ I know I have got this all wrong as this is something I am trying to teach myself, The pages for each event have this code “[SINGLEEVENT single_event_id=”csa-test-even-51adeb56e7404″]” but there doesnt seem to be a cart link or cart page to go to.. And thank you btw.. |
Hi Bruce, You do need the page though, or Event Espresso will not work. You can remove the tab that you do not want by going into the WordPress menu manager and removing the event page’s menu manager. If your WordPress theme does not support the WordPress menu manager, (most do though) you can use the Exclude pages from menu plugin. Please see the documentation for more information: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/the-basic-settings/#page Once you have the main registration page set up, you may not need to make pages for each event using the singleevent shortcode too. |
