'View a larger map' option on Google map

Is there any way of getting the box with the venue address, directions link and ‘view a larger map’ on in the embedded google map on the venue page? Thanks!

Hi there,

EE uses the Google Maps Static API-
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/maps-static/intro

The feature I think you are looking for is part of the Maps Embed API –
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/embed/start

So, yes it’s possible to add that info, but to so you would need to switch EE’s integration from Static Maps to Embed maps. We don’t have a way to do that within EE without modifying core, you could write your own embed maps integration and then call that in place of where EE is calling its own, but you’ll need to then work through the EE templates to change that function call.
