Hi,
I have a workshop with multiple sessions. I would like the client to select one venue (say from a dropdown list of available venues) when they register for the workshop.
This will help me create a single workshop event, instead of creating multiple copies of the workshops, one for each venue. Even better would be to allow the client to select the venue when they create an account, so that during workshop registration, the venue infromation is auto-matically pre-filled during checkout.
Is this possible? Let me know

Hi there,
Possible? Yes and No. It really depends on how you want it to work.
It’s possible to create a dropdown question on the Registration form where you manually add the Venues to that question and the user selects one of those from there.
However, that venue won’t be ‘assigned’ to anything and if you are looking to manage attendees per venue the above solution doesn’t allow that at all (A user could select Ticket 1 and select Venue A, another user could select Ticket 1 but select Venue B and EE will how no idea there is a difference between the 2.
The venues are assigned to the Events themselves (and in the future, it may be possible to assign them to Datetimes) so you can’t have separate venues without a separate event within EE at this time.
